The Battle of Arras 1917-2017

Share our recent journey to commemorate the Battle of Arras.

Working with the Scottish Government and WW100Scotland, we took 72 school children over to France and Belgium for five days in April.

Seventy two school pupils representing each local authority in Scotland took a once in a lifetime trip to Belgium and the north of France to take part in international Battle of Arras centenary commemorations. In addition to attending a commemorative service at Faubourg d'Amiens Cemetery and a Beating Retreat in the Place des Héros on Sunday 9 April 2017, the pupils visited World War One battlefields, cemeteries and memorials where they reflected on the magnitude of the loss suffered during the conflict.

What our customers think

"A very interesting and moving experience leaving us all with much to think about and remember."

The variety of the visits and the personal stories made it even more memorable. the supporting materials of appropriate videos, songs and information booklets made us realise that much thought and preparation and enthusiasm had gone into the planning and execution of our Battlefields experience. Thank you very much.
